On April 26th,  the international works exhibition on industrial design development history “Design Fantasy” gave you a surprise. VAST Industrial Design Museum opened on May 18th that is 42nd International Museum Day! Hosted by School of Design of Hunan University, Shenzhen Industrial Design Profession Association (SIDA), Hebei Industrial Design Innovation Center (HIDC) and Langfang Industrial Design Innovation Center, VAST Industrial Design Museum displays Chinese original design works and design integration with international design works through four modules including classic area, advanced industry area, design in life, intelligent future and video area, and the time line is used to highlight design heritage to provide all-round knowledge of industrial design works for each visitor.

As “Wisdom Museum 4.0”, the museum displays the importance of design by innovative ways, such as projection interaction, digital simulation and so on. Compared with the display method by cards, the museum displays each product by electric touch screen and multimedia digital screen, attracting every visitor.

Zhong Ming, the general designer of the museum collects the elements of important years in industrial design history and key words of industrial design to construct an industrial design image memorial Wall through three-dimensional words with different height and size, so that the visitors can generally learn the industrial design history through the memorial wall.
