Looking forward to 2019, HIDC will continue to organize industry activities to create a good atmosphere; further strengthen industrial matchmaking and create typical benchmarking cases; accelerate the construction of key parks and carriers in the province; promote the construction of the "five-one project" of Xiongan industrial design; and create regional brands of Hebei's characteristic industries through the combination of online and on-site. The development concepts of a number of companies such as Boshen Tools, Haoli Cashmere, Jingyu Technology, and Lvling Walnut have undergone profound changes. Industrial design has been used to redefine products and realize product pricing and sales. Revenue, total profit, market share and other corporate benefits and competitiveness have been improved.

The design momentum is growing rapidly. Three design service industry clusters in Shijiazhuang, Qinhuangdao, and Xiongan New Area have been constructed in the province’s key layout. Municipal industrial design innovation centers such as Qinhuangdao, Tangshan, Langfang, Baoding, Xingtai, etc. have been listed for operation, becoming an introduction design agency (company) and cluster design. As the main carrier platform for resources, the number of specialized industrial design service companies in the province has increased significantly, reaching more than 160 (more than 110 of which were newly registered last year).

A breakthrough was made in open development. The provincial government successfully held the first Hebei International Industrial Design Week in Xiongan New Area, Langfang City successfully held the China International Industrial Design Industry Summit Forum series, Cangzhou Hejian City successfully held the “China · Hejian Craft Glass Design Innovation Competition”, and the whole province organized a delegation to Britain, Finland, Sweden and other industrial design developed countries for inspection. In 2018, the whole province worked together to create top-level design and build an industrial design development policy system. Hebei has formulated two programmatic documents of "Several Policy Measures to Support the Development of Industrial Design" and "Special Plan for Industrial Design Development of Hebei Province", and other 9 supporting documents such as " Hebei Province Funded Industrial Design Achievement Transformation Operation Regulations (for Trial Implementation) . At present, five municipal industrial design innovation centers in Qinhuangdao, Tangshan, Langfang, Baoding, Xingtai and other cities have been put into operation; special trainings have been carried out and the concept of industrial design innovation has been improved.
