The 2022 Winter Olympic Games is coming soon, in order to speed up the development of Zhangjiakou ice and snow equipment manufacturing industry and strengthen the support of modern service industry of ice and snow, from 26 to 27 December, Feng Changhong, Director of Hebei Industrial Design Innovation Center, Yan Shi, Deputy Director, Wang Ping, General Manager of CBON Design Consulting Co., Ltd., Zhang Wenjun, General Manager of Marketing Center of Beijing Tianji Digital Technology Co., Ltd.,  Liu Jiaqi, Deputy General Manager of Hebei RITO Industrial Design Co., Ltd., Luan Heng, General Manager of Hebei Beishang Industrial Design Co., Ltd., Liu Yongli,  General Manager of Marketing Center of Sichuan Huati Lighting Technology Co., Ltd., and Lang Liqiang, Director of Creative Industrial Design Project of Hebei Craftsmanship, came to Zhangjiakou to carry out research and development with design empowerment.

On December 26, under the leadership of Zhang Jianshun, secretary and director of the party group of Zhangjiakou Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, Wang Xuedong, deputy governor of Xuanhua District, and Zhang Huihua, four-level researcher of Zhangjiakou Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, the design team first came to Cabin Skiing Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd.

Cabin Skiing Group was founded in 2010, is China ' s ski resort ' one-stop service ' brand and the first domestic ski industry comprehensive service provider. The company ' s main business sectors include indoor and outdoor ski resort planning and design, indoor and outdoor ski resort large equipment supply, ski equipment design and development and production, advisory and operation management of ice and snow projects, and ice and snow industry research. The design team visited the snow machine production plant that day. The snow machine they produced was red as a whole, representing China Red. The snow machine export used ceramic technology and was easier to clean. Director Shirley Feng learned that the whole machine is domestic independent research and development. She encouraged factory managers to continue to increase R & D efforts to build national brand international competitiveness, helping China 's development of ice and snow industry.

Subsequently, the delegation came to the Beijing-Zhangzhou Olympic Park. Zhangjiakou Jingzhang Olympic Park is an industrial park established by the Xuanhua District Committee and the government to promote the industrial transformation and upgrading of the whole area. It is the main position for the development of high-tech industry layout in Xuanhua District, and is in the initial stage of development. The members of the delegation said that under the background of coordinated development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and the hosting of the Winter Olympic Games in Zhangjiakou, the joint construction of Beijing-Zhangjiakou Olympic Park is of great significance to help the economic structure adjustment, optimization and upgrading of Xuanhua District and promote the economic development system of Xuanhua District.

Then the design deegation came to Huatai Mining and Metallurgy Machinery Co., Ltd., which is a professional company to develop and wholesale underground drilling engineering machinery. By improving reliable and intelligent mechanical equipment, they make the construction work of high risk and high labor intensity industries safer, more efficient and economical. The head of the enterprise focuses on introducing the amount of hydraulic rock drilling trolley to the design team. It is an advanced small and medium-sized hydraulic rock drilling equipment independently developed, developed and manufactured on the basis of absorbing the advantages of similar products at home and abroad. After understanding the product performance, the delegation suggested that enterprises should add more humanized design to give ice-cold steel temperature while improving product structure.

Hebei Xuanhua Engineering Machinery Co., Ltd. is also an engineering equipment manufacturing enterprise. They not only have the core technology of independent research and development and manufacturing of crawler bulldozers, but also are the only domestic manufacturers to master the independent intellectual property rights of high-drive bulldozers and realize mass production. The delegation felt the shock of the machine operation in the workshop. Hebei Xuangong should seize the historical opportunity of the coordinated development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and the construction of Xiong an New Area, adhere to the guidance of science and technology, mechanism innovation and management improvement, and strive to cultivate and expand new development momentum with the strength of design.

Zhangjiakou not only has the engineering equipment manufacturing industry, but also the automobile industry. On the afternoon of 26th, the design team came to visit the Zhangjiakou factory of Lekke Automobile. The team visited the assembly workshop, covering an overall area of 59,000 square meters. According to the interpreters, the annual capacity of the factory is 200,000, bringing more than 4,000 jobs to Zhangjiakou. The global, high-end and intelligent production and manufacturing system of Lingke Zhangjiakou Factory has effectively promoted the development and upgrading of Zhangjiakou ’ s social economy and automobile industry. The members of the design team have expressed that the completion and commissioning of the Zhangjiakou factory is an important achievement of complementary advantages and win-win cooperation between Zhangjiakou industry and Geely automobile industry. It is of great significance and role for optimizing the industrial layout of Geely Group and expanding the Hebei automobile industry.

In order to further understand the development status of Zhangjiakou ice and snow industry, under the leadership of Wang Yongzheng, Vice-President of Wanquan District, Shi Jiandong, Director of Wanquan District Bureau of Industry and Information, and Bai Jianhai, Vice-President of Wanquan High-tech Zone Management Committee, the delegation came to the ice and snow equipment industrial park of the high-tech zone. Since 2018, Zhangjiakou High-tech Industrial Development Zone has focused on promoting the construction of ice and snow sports equipment industrial park demonstration area. The total construction area of the demonstration area is more than 240,000 square meters, of which the planned 3165 acres of ice and snow sports equipment industrial park has started construction, after completion and operation, it is expected to introduce 20-40 enterprises.

The delegation had a detailed understanding of the planning and functions of the industrial park, and had investigated Tianbing Snow Equipment Zhangjiakou Co., Ltd. and Zhangjiakou Jingxi Sports Equipment Co., Ltd.

Ice and Snow Equipment is an Italian enterprise, a leading enterprise in the global snow industry, and establishes strategic friendly cooperation with the International Skiing Federation ( FIS ). As the only company in the world that can build fully automated snow-making systems, it has served six Winter Olympics and will provide snow-making equipment and automation systems for the National Alpine Ski Center of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics.

Zhangjiakou Jingxi Sports Equipment Co., Ltd. is the first large-scale factory in Hebei Province that specializes in the production of ski sports related equipment. Its products include single boards, double boards, and cross-country skis. It used to be an enterprise in Hubei. It chose to "go north" because of the unique geographical location of Zhangjiakou Ice and Snow Industrial Park and the various preferential support policies given by the park. The delegation believed that the introduction of excellent domestic and foreign enterprises into the industrial park would not only inject new momentum into the ice and snow industry in Zhangjiakou, but also greatly promote local enterprises to accelerate their pace of innovation and achieve transformation and upgrading.

On the morning of December 27th, under the leadership of Li Chunbin, member of the Standing Committee of Zhangjiakou Municipal Committee and Deputy Mayor of the Municipal Government, the design delegation came to Zhangjiakou Industrial Design Innovation Center and visited the "Zhangjiakou Centennial Industrial Design Exhibition", the design comprehensive service hall, and the design shared space , "Prototype Design and Production Center", "3D Printing Laboratory" and "New Material Exhibition Area", to learn more about the development and operation of Zhangjiakou Industrial Design Innovation Center.

After the visit, the inspection team and deputy mayor Li Chunbin, investigator Zhang Huihua, the second-level sponsor of the Economic Development Zone Management Committee Li Zejun, and Zhangjiakou Industrial Design Innovation Center Co., Ltd. A large part of Beishang Design's business scope is construction machinery. After two days of research and investigation, Luan Heng believes that Zhangjiakou's construction machinery design still has a lot of room for development. Equipment manufacturing no longer focuses only on functionality, and humanized design should also be taken into consideration. Whether it is appearance or interior, people-oriented is the unchanging concept of design.

Liu Jiaqi believes that the development of Zhangjiakou's industry should integrate product design and brand design. In today's highly competitive market, if we continue to follow traditional thinking and imitate follow-up development of products, the living space will become narrower and narrower. Only through design innovation and optimization of products can we avoid the increasingly serious phenomenon of homogeneity in the market. If you want to further occupy a dominant position in the same industry, you have to use the means of brand design to deepen consumers' impression of the brand and enhance the stickiness and loyalty between the buyer and the seller.

Wang Ping, General Manager of Shenzhen CBON Design Consulting Co., Ltd.

Wang Ping believes that design is not a single link in product manufacturing, it runs through the entire process. At present, what Zhangjiakou enterprises lack is systematic design thinking. Simple appearance design and packaging design cannot represent all of industrial design. To break through the bottleneck period, enterprises need to use design to empower the development of the industrial chain.

Lang Liqiang believes that scientific design analysis and understanding of industry trends can truly design good products. We should first consider how to meet the customer's application functions, secondly use appropriate materials and processes to meet the requirements of the working environment, and then consider the problems and challenges faced by the product at the manufacturing end, and finally give a suitable appearance design. As the Winter Olympics is approaching, Zhangjiakou enterprises must vigorously develop industrial design if they want to maintain the domestic market while entering the international market. Whether they have the ability to independently innovate and develop products will become an important condition for their market competitiveness.

In 2019, when the deligation first came to Zhangjiakou for investigation, the industrial design has just started. One year later, outside Shanhaiguan is very different. Design thinking is deeply rooted in the hearts of the people, with government's support, center's promotion, enterprises' innovation, and public's participation. With the help of the Winter Olympics, Zhangjiakou improved the city's industrial structure, focused on the development of the ice and snow industry, and used industrial design to accelerate the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry. Hebei Industrial Design Innovation Center will also work with Zhangjiakou to create a regional brand and achieve a breakthrough in Zhangjiakou's industrial innovation.
