The surface of cast iron has a wild beauty. In order to demonstrate the beauty and expressive power of the materials, the shape design is simple to avoid extra designs lighting the beautiful materials. This is combination of modern and traditional culture.
・ A teapot made from Yamagata's traditional craft with cast iron. Unlike Iwate Prefecture and the south of Morioka, the Yamagata Prefecture is home to the production of stoves and kettles for traditional tea culture in Japan.
・This work was created by Sato Koji, the 10th generation of Seiichi Building.
・Every product used for export is made of enamel inside the teapot. However, this IRONY follows the tranditional method that is fired to prevent rust after painting. Therefore, when water is boiled in this teapot, the boiling water contains iron and it is healthy.
