The lecture hall was held in Luquan Innovation Center, which was sponsored by Bureau of Industry and Information Technology of Shijiazhuang, Shijiazhuang Science and Technology and Intellectual Property Bureau (Seismological Bureau) and People’s Government of Luquan, organized by HIDC and Luquan innovation Center and co-organized by SIDA.

Zhang Sen, the leader of Luquan District opened the prelude to the sixth design lecture hall. Zhang said that Shenzhen was the design capital that leading economics, science and technology and innovation. Hebei began to pay attention to industrial design from this year, and we must actively respond and give strong support to intruduce Shenzhen’s industrial design to Hebei. He hoped that through this lecture hall, the industrial design in Luquan would be promoted. 

The highlights are the speeches made by Bob who is chairman of Swedish Design House, Li Haibo who is General Manager of Shenzhen Donghai Current Design Co., Ltd., Jia Xiaobu who is Design Director of Beijing Top Design Co., Ltd. The themes of the speeches are that "Design is doing subtraction", "Brand Innovation Driven by Industrial Design" and "The function of the product is to solve the needs or live better."

Another highlight of this event was the agreement reached between Hebei Altwie Medical Devices Co., Ltd. and Shenzhen Donghai Current Design Co., Ltd.

In order to better promote the communication between manufacturing companies of Hebei and design companies of Shenzhen, under the support and guidance of Department of Industry and Information Technology, Hebei Industrial Design Innovation Center has organized five design lectures since August from Shijiazhuang, Yucheng, Hengshui, Handan to Qinhuangdao. By stimulating the industrial design awareness of manufacturing enterprises of Hebei and introducing advanced design resources of Shenzhen, support is provided for the transformation and development of Hebei manufacturing.
