On May 30th, 9th Design Lecture was held in Xingtai to promote transformation and upgrading of local featured indutries trough the mode of design + brand. Designers provided practical solutions for the difficulties met by local companies. Zhang Xijun who is the deputy major of Xingtai Municipal Government hoped that local companies could learn industrial design through this activity and explored a industrial development way and benefited from industrial design.

Shirley Feng is honored as the "industrial design promoter" and "maker promoter", who is the pioneer of Chinese creative industry and the executer of building the Shenzhen into "City of Design". She has many deisgn achievements that ranks top in the world. Now, she serves as director of Hebei Industrial Design Innovation Center. Shirley Feng learnt the situation of industrial design and industrial development of Hebei Province and has clear thought and long-term plan. She organized successful matchmaking conference and design promotion meeting in Hebei Province.

As the engine and supporting platform to promote Hebei industrial design development, Hebei Industrial Design Innovation Center was unveiled on April 26 to converge the power of design and promote the transformation of industry. Throgh three functional space of design studio, design show and design lab, top design agencies are converged equipped with high-precision 3D printing center, new materials lab, human factors assessment lab and Fab Factory to contribute to product innovation iteration.
