On December 19th, 2018, Xiong'an Design Lecture was opened in XIDI!

As one of the important brand activities in Hebei to create a development atmosphere, promote advanced design concepts and promote international design exchange, the design lecture has been successfully held in 14 cities in our province, including Xingtai, Qinhuangdao, Dingzhou, Handan, Hengshui, Shijiazhuang and Baigou.

Tian Jinchang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee, Executive Deputy Director of the Management Committee of Xiong'an New District, and Party Secretary and Chairman of China Xiong'an Group Co., Ltd. attended the lecture. Leaders of Rongcheng County, Anxin County, and related departments, Gong Jianjun, mayor and deputy secretary of Municipal Party Committee of Renqiu, and representatives of some enterprises in Xiong'an New District participated. This lecture was hosted by Shirley Feng, director of Hebei Industrial Design Innovation Center.

This design lecture invited well-known guests from home and abroad to enhance the understanding of manufacturing enterprises and society on industrial design by sharing new ideas, making it a bridge to connect technology and market, so as to achieve the purpose of upgrading the level of industry, enhancing the competitiveness of products, increasing the effective supply, accelerating the industrial transformation and upgrading, and promoting the high-quality development of industrial economy in Xiong'an New area and the whole province.

President of Japan’s GK Design Group Tanaka Ichiro first delivered a keynote speech entitled “Elements of Urban Quality”. He said, “China’s urbanization process has been very rapid, and we also have many beautiful cities. In order to make these cities better on the basis of the existing, we must consider a key word - quality. Unlike Japan, there are many new cities in China that are developing, with a wide range of design prospects and potential, which form a broad stage for designers to show their talents. But in the process of design, we should think about a question, what is the quality of the city? Industrial design may be related to urban design, the first thing we consider is urban planning,which means where to build a city and how to build a city. Construction and development of cities should be comfortable for people in urban life. The greatest charm brought by design is to bring people closer to the city."

Feng Xiao, co-founder of RITO, said in his speech on "Brands driven by Design": " Behind a strong brand, we can see how design reflects our value. The old creative body emphasizes imagination to presentation and design to brand. We have always focused on brand and product, design and marketing to achieve systemic solutions with integrated power. We have to design the right products for the right people, not to give whatever the crowd needs."

"No matter doing the market, doing urban design or making an industry change, for the development of a company, in fact, its entire concept is undergoing great changes. In the whole process of development, in addition to its core pillars, it is actually a very important factor at each design level. We will do different things from three directions, from the brand's influence, in the brand's thinking, and on the value level. Relatively speaking, for several core communication dimensions, talents, consumers, upstream and downstream, and enterprises all need to do different things"

Luo Huan, founder of Sbon Co,.ltd., concluded in a speech entitled “Designing Boosts Business: New Thinking to Change the Future”, “When we put these products together, we find that there is not much innovation. And it is difficult to meet the aesthetics of today's era. First of all, we need to add new consumption, which is to drive our consumption upgrading with what we don't have before; then we need to upgrade our quality, because people pursue some things that are different from before; finally, we need to upgrade the quality. When we find that we can't figure out new consumption, and we can't find how to upgrade the quality, we need to learn to improve the price/performance ratio. When there are more and more products, we need to grasp the consumer psychology and win by marketing."

Xiong'an is the city of the future. “When Xiong'an meets the design” was held once in December last year. One year has passed and we have many achievements. Two months ago, the first Hebei International Industrial Design Week was successfully held. Many masters came and had more and more experience and feelings from creativity to design. Now, let’s listen to the thoughts of the three speakers.

Feng Xiao: From the big positioning, Xiong'an is the most important core city of non-capital function. We need to analyze the living habits, life needs and life quality of these groups. And we have to think about how our current city is moving around the world. The future of Xiong'an is a city of science and technology, a city of humanities, and it is a new form of life. Its ecological impact on the whole life state is tremendous.

Luo Huan: the city Xiong'an is very lucky. When it is not started yet, there is an international consulting team discussing how it is done, which was not available in Shenzhen 40 years ago. The development of any city must depend on whether the company is the world's leading brand. In the future, the world-class brand enterprises will certainly be born in Xiong'an, not just Chinese brand enterprises. I hope that there will be no pressure and be comfort here in the future, and this state of life is the happiest.

Tanaka Ichio: Xiong'an meets the design. Xiong'an will definitely be a city of creativity in the future. There are many good ideas worth learning from the design of relationships between city and human in Janpan’s cities,covering city planning, city landscape, city management and city taste. All designs are a comprehensive consideration of the quality of a city, including the participation of citizens so that everyone can have pride and love for their city, which is not just about the design of a product. In the development of the future city, it is very important to consider the visual design of the human size. The design around the city is also very important, and human beings will undergo tremendous changes in the future.
