On July 16, the 34th Design Lecture Hall was successfully held in Jinyuan Building, Shuangjing District, Chengde. The event revolves around the theme of "Creative Production City · Lighting Up the Shuangluan". Well-known design masters and experts from Sweden, Shenzhen and other places were invited to share the creative ideas of industrial design and the integration with the Shuangluan industry.

Liu Yang, the mayor of the People's Government of Shuangjing District of Chengde City, spoke at the meeting. He said that Shuangjing District was named after the Qifeng Shuangta Mountain and the clear waters of the Jing River in the country. It is the only one in the country with two characters named after mountains and water. The urban area is a city of mountains and rivers. As the throat area of the capital's economic circle and the three provinces of Northeast China, Shuangyao firmly established the new "four districts" development thinking, comprehensively implemented the five-character policy of "strict, practical, new, fusion, and harmonious", and vigorously developed cultural tourism and medical care, Vanadium and titanium products, three leading industries of specialty manufacturing and productive services, actively expand the achievements of Ji-Hong exchanges promoted by Governor Xu Qin, and vigorously promote industrial technologies such as vanadium and titanium high-end products, passive house construction, royal jewelry, and new energy vehicles industrial project.

At present, Chengde is in a period of historical window and strategic opportunity. The coordinated development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei has provided a rare opportunity for the accelerated development of Chengde's industrial design. Chengde will implement the important instructions of General Secretary Jinping on "Actively Adjust and Speed Up", accelerate the modern service industry represented by industrial design, integrate development with the manufacturing and tourism industries in Shuangliao District, fully promote industrial design innovation, and give full play to the positive role of industrial design in promoting industrial transformation and upgrading in new industries and new formats. We hope that domestic and foreign design institutions and teams will continue to pay attention to Chengde, invest in Chengde, build Chengde, strengthen the matching cooperation with Chengde manufacturing enterprises, and bring first-class design concepts, first-class design products, and first-class design brands to Chengde.
